I have a student visa in Italy (permesso di soggiorno per one year). Now I want to apply for work permission in Italy and convert my student visa to a work visa and renew my soggiorno in this way. In any case I need to find a way to renew my soggiorno by the end of Jan. (my current soggiorno is valid till mid Feb)and I need time to find a job position.

Please give me your advice on this issue.
