I have a diabetic dog that has been sick for a couple days and won't drink or eat. When he does he'll keep it down for a couple hours but throws it up... any ideas? And yes I would love to take him to the vet but we don't have the couple hundred it will cost to see him.

If this has been going on for several days I'm sorry but my firwt suggestion is to work out a payment plan with your vet and get him in as soon as possible.

If you ABSOLUTELY cannot see a vet then I would suggest trying a very bland diet such as boiled chicken and rice. If he is vomiting regularly you may need to withhold food for several hours until the vomiting stops and only give a TINY amount (a teaspoon at most) of food and gradually build it up.
