Bought a new jeep and I lost the remote transmitter for the garage door opener. How can I get the Jeep to recognize the code of the garage door opener?

Check the instructions to your automatic garage door opener. For a Genie, it should be something along these lines:

. Locate Learn Code Button and Learn Indicator on Power Head.

. Press and release Learn Code Button on Power Head--the Red Indicator blinks 2 times/second.

. Press Remote Control Button once within 30 seconds--Red Indicator stays lit.

. Press Remote Control Button again--Red Indicator goes out and memory is stored.
