What cause cold and hot water to not come to kenmore heavy duty super capacity washer machine? Please help!

Is there water at the washer hose attachments? Turn off the valves, disconnect the hoses, crack the valves to see if you are getting water. Make sure the screens on the hose ends are clean. If you have water, do you have power to the washer? Lots of possibilities so you need to check things out. Could be a bad timer.
