    Kentucky state lease laws?
I cosigned for my son to get an apt, his lease was up in Sept and he has not signed a new one and is moving out of state next month. He just got an eviction notice so I need to know am I still liable if there was never a new lease signed

    Hello b:

Yes. Unless the lease says otherwise, it converted to a month to month rental at it's expiration, with the SAME terms. That means you are STILL liable.

Why is he being evicted? Is he not paying his rent? If so, you will be liable for the rent accruing until he has been moved out. It might be to your advantage to see to it that your son gives his landlord a 30-day notice anyway.
