Had a Bryant furnace Model #398AAZ048100 manufactured in 1991. Have heard that this model has been recalled. When did the recall become effective and is there any reimbursement by Bryant if a new furnace was installed to replace recalled unit? What was the recall for and could I have had repairs made instead of a full replacement?

You can contact a Bryant supplier, but with 20 years gone by,I`d say it's a lot to late

wmproops is correct. Even if the unit was recalled, the recall is well over with by now. Sorry, but you will most likely get no reinbursment
