I have these 3 kittens that I am bottle feeding they are about 3 to 4 weeks old. The one I am concerned about is a male that it seems to me the other are suckling on his privates... red, swollen etc. I noticed he was very weak this morning, so I tried to feed him, he refuses, I was massaging his tummy and notice a thick white mucus leaking from his rectum when I applied any pressure. I do NOT have money to bring it to the vet... is there anything I can do for him? Thanks... Trying To Make a Difference

I think you are going to need to find the funds to take your cat to the vet. Try calling around. Most vets will offer some sort of payment plan IF you explain your situation AND you have been a good client of theirs (keep pets up to date, pay your bill on time, etc)

Thanks, but that kitten died less than an hour after posting this, but now there's another one that I am worried about. I will be taking them to the vet... that kitten passing just broke my heart, the mom, abandoned them. There were 4, the 1st one was so tiny and died the same day I found them... I've tried so hard to keep them healthy, may be why the mom abandoned them in the first place... who knows, but I am sad.
