I like this girl we want to date each other she went out with my friend for 2 years and he screwed her over multiple times and I want to make her happy and have a steady relationship he was a good friend but he got me into a lot of trouble with the law I'm not sure of what to do I can't help the fact I like her and I'm not sure what to do

If he's that much of a troublemaker, I'd say he's not worth having as a friend. You don't want that kind of influence.

But do you truly like this girl? You need to bear in mind how he'll feel, and what would happen, when he finds out.
