I have central air and when using either the heater or air conditioner, it kicks off periodically. I have to reset it by flipping the switch off and then back on again to the electrical box in the garage for the central air one only, and then flipping the swith off and then on again to the unit in my basement. Then it turns on again and works for a few days and then kicks off again by itself. Furnace filter gets changed regulary.
