Can I be evicted by roommate for no reason because I'm not on lease?

In effect, yes. If you do not have a lease, you are, at best a month to month tenant. That means your tenancy can be terminated with a month's notice. If you refuse to leave, then YOUR landlord (the person on the lease) can file to evict you.
