Just about 3-4 months ago I started using a new form of birth control. I had switched from the Nuvaring to Lo loestrin fe. Ever since I had started the new birth control I had not gotten a period. I haven't taken any pregnancy tests out of fear that I am, ridiculous I know. But I haven't really had any symptoms at all. I've had some stomach pain and cramping but I've always had stomach problems and these have been nothing so severe that I felt the need to worry about it. Just yesterday I had some very light spotting, then today again I had some light spotting. I also experienced some mild cramping with the spotting. I have read quite a few reviews on lo loestrin saying that they had gotten no period once they started, or went weeks/months without one. So, I know that you cannot tell by reading something on the internet, but what is the probability of me being pregnant with no symptoms other than a missed period? Might I also add I have always had an extremely sensitive stomach so I would think that I would have symptoms within the first week of pregnancy. Thank you.

If you have been using the birth control consistently, odds are low that you are pregnant. It is certainly possible, as no form of birth control will be 100% effective, but it is more likely the lack of periods is due to the change in contraceptives.

Try a pregnancy test... be sure to follow the directions carefully. That way you will know for sure and it will bring you some peace of mind.
