I applied for EIN via telephone for my partnership incorporated in UK. I got the EIN. I need EIN to apply for account in one of online stores. I have got answer that my EIN does not exist in database. Does anyone know how long it takes to update IRS database? Thanks

Even though you got the EIN over the phone, you STILL must submit the required paperwork to the IRS. Suggest you go onto the IRS website (www.irs.gov) and download that paperwork, then mail it in.
