I have had the paragard for 17 months now. Last Tuesday, October 25th, the day I was due to start, I spotted VERY lightly and just once. Since then I have had cramping and pains, last night I was bawling in pain for about an hour and it went away. Today I am still cramping with light dizziness, fatigue and have been sleeping a lot. I am not pregnant as I had a blood test that came back negative. Still no period. I should also mention that 2 months ago I had an u/s since the dr couldn't find my strings. It is still in place but will require surgery to remove since the strings are gone. Should I be worried?
