    Teenage height and smoking
Hi, my name is josh, I'm 14 years old 155cm male.
I smoked about 2-3 cigs only WITHOUT inhaling , I've been around smokers only a couple of times.
Im really scared that my height would be affected and I would not grow at the maximum height.
    Would it affect ?
I need a answer please because I'm desprate

If you don't inhale ( not that I believe that smoke does not get into your lungs)

I would be more worried over other medical issues that smoking causes ( like shorting your life span).

If you don't inhale, what's the point of smoking BUT the answer is yes, smoking can stunt your growth. Does Smoking Cigarettes Stunt Growth? | LIVESTRONG.COM

I'm not a smoker, that's why I didn't inhale... I still believe that smoke can get into your lungs but can that little smoke of 2-3 cigs affect my heigt, is my height not going to get to the max now after those cigs ? That's what I'm trying to know

Did you read what I posted? I think President Bush didn't inhale either. Oh, wait, that wasn't cigarettes.

Here you said you aren't a smoker. Your question was: "I smoked about 2-3 cigs only WITHOUT inhaling" -

Smokers smoke A lot like 9+ cigs and they're addicted, I'm not addicted to smoking at all...

And still no one answer my question, is my height still going to grow normally??

READ WHAT I POSTED - SMOKING CAN AFFECT YOUR HEIGHT.

What part of what I posted for you to read don't you understand?

There is no qualification to be a smoker - where did you get the "9 cigarettes make a smoker" idea?

I know smoking affected my height, I know that, I understand, but that applies to (([[SMOKERS]]))
    I didn't smoke much and I won't smoke (([[AGAIN]]))

2-3 cigs (without inhaling) won't make a huge difference right or wrong ? Don't start making stories just answer this!

That little bit will not make a difference.

I suspect 2-3 cigs a day without inhaling is the same as everyone I talk to who had 2 glasses of beer before the accident.

It wasn't all in one day, the 2-3 were spread on 4 weeks... 4 weeks only 2-3 cigs,

So according to J_9, my height is still normal and healthy ?

There is no way to know if your height is normal and I don't know what a healthy height is.

I think your question has been answered 4fold and it's time to close.
