What is the difference between soil & waste pipe?
Same thing. It is a pipe that carries waste water from plumbing fixtures. Hope that helps. Milo
Thanks Mr.Milo for said information.I would know differences between waste and soil pipe will u please explain?
Milo already explained. Soil, waste and drainage pipes are all the same. Why are you asking? Regards, Tom
I am not sure I understand your question... but I repeat: Soil pipe and Waste Pipe are the same. It is just different terminology used to describe same pipe. Even though they can be Cast Iron, ABS, Galvanized Steel, or PVC, they still are called "Soil" and "Waste" pipes regardless what they are made of.
Question: Are you trying to identify a pipe you have found under ground ?
Back to you. Milo
No Mr.Milo.I am not trying to identify any pipe.
Actually Someone explained me that,
Soil Pipe:A pipe Which is carrying waste from only WC.
Waste pipe : A pipe which is carrying waste from plumbing fixtures like from shower, basin, bathtub etc.
I would confirm the things clear.Thanx
Ahh! Then what would we call a pipe that carried both solids from the toilet and gray water from the tub?Quote:
Soil Pipe:A pipe Which is carrying waste from only WC.
Who dribbled down this horse hockey on you? It couldn't have been a working plumber. You've asked the experts and you have your answer. Regards, Tom
