My autistic son laughs at nothing and talks to himself is it a ghost. Als a lot of strange things have been happening recently. The dogs are growling and barking at something not there, I had the gas ring turn its self on and drawers opening by themselves. Also banging and things in the corner of my eye.

Well, with all the other things you claim are going on... it is a very good possibility. Children are a prime target of spirits and especially children with any kind of mental disability. That is where it is most important for you, as the parent, to stand over your child, making sure there is a Godly atmosphere in the home. In what order did these events start taking place? Did the child seem to be in contact with something first and then other occurrences happened or was it the other way around?

Daniel has been laughing and talking to himself for quiet a while now. We assumed it was part of his condition and was harmless. Its only now these other things have started to happen. I also am slightly physic and can sense something in the house I don't think it is bad but it feels uncomfortable.

Why do you feel you are psychic and how long has that been going on?

I have had the psychic gift all my life, and have the healing touch also. I can sense when there is a presence around a wave of cold or warm comes over me sometimes a smell and incredible emotions either sad or happy or anything. For a short time (few minutes or seconds) I'm someone else. After I'm exhausted. Lately so many things have been happening little things but all spooky. I hope its my nan who has always been around me to watch over us but it doesn't feel like her.

Has this been something that other family members have had as a "gift"? Why would you think your grandmother hangs around you?

As far as I know no one else has it. I have seen a lot of mediums and clairvoyants over the years and all have said my grand parents both of them are watching over us especially Daniel with his autism and severe learning difficulties. She died just before he was born I nearly died having him and while I was unconscious and they were fighting to save us both she was there with me holding my hand. She said It wasn't my time and I had lots to do. Ever since then I can feel her around but something strange is definatley happening I'm tired all the time as if the energy is being sucked out of me. Daniel is constantly talking and giggling to himself if I try to ask him what he's doing he pushes me out the room and tells me to go away. He's 14.

Now do you think that if your loving grandparents were watching over him... that this influence would not be pushing you away from him? Demons get most of their footholds in someone's life because they sneak their way in. If the devil is referred to a the "father of all lies" by God, should we not expect the spirits that follow him to also operate in total deceit? What I am getting at here is that the spirits are not your grandparents. What I am also getting at is that every medium and clairvoyant is NOT operating under an honest spirit as well. There is a great deceit out there and you are now part of it. You really have two options... ignore it and watch it most likely get worse in some way or another over the years (or months) or start to take a biblical understanding of what is really going on in your home. This is not something that can be forced on you... so if you want to know more, I am here... if you do not, then I will step aside.

I am open to suggestions of what to do. I think I should fill you in on a little about me as this may be my fault its happening.After Dan was diagnoised it became clear I would not be able to return to work as I became his full time carer. We lost a lot of friends due to his condition and we had very little support from the authorities it is only now 14 years later he is getting some rest bite and we are getting help. My husband and I have been together for 22 years and we have had some very bad times from losing our home and losing jobs him leaving a few times domestic abuse all sorts. All this with Dans problems on top and then a lot of health problems. My husband had back surgery my mom has severe heart problems I have a bulge on my heart and am severely depressed and on medication. I spend a lot of time alone and don't have many friends as I don't trust people very much due to things we have been through in the past. I'm in counseling for some issues from my child hood which still haunt me to do with my father. Do you think all this negativity has some how attracted a negative spirit or maybe its me seeing things as I'm lonely and depressed. I perhaps are imagining this I would like a plausible explanation but if its really happening I'm all for getting rid of it now.

No, actually everything you said in your response makes a lot of sense. Now I am not one that will say the Devil CAUSED all of the trauma and drama in your life (although he CAN cause that stuff), but he can use it to his advantage and move in. I would NOT say that this if your fault. Life can really throw us some curve balls, some of it can be very unfair at times... but it is not YOUR fault. The good news is that Jesus Christ can turn ANY situation around. Where sickness is, He can bring healing. Were oppression and deprssion are, He can bring deliverance. Where bondage and anger are, He can bring release, forgiveness and love. Where poverty is, He can bring prosperity. There is nothing that evil can bring, that God cannot undo AND use to His glory. I believe every word of what I just typed because I have seen it all come to pass in my own life. If you say your are open to suggestions on what to do... cut out the mediums and the clairvoyants... and try and go straight to Jesus about it all. Now I know I don't have to tell you this, but all of this is not going to disappear over night. The spiritual problems around the home and with your son can go pretty quick... but the other stuff might need time and healing. If you say you are truly open to help from somewhere... may I suggest finding a good church? Now I will tell you now... GOING to church isn't going to solves these things... but it is where you are going to FIND the help to deal with these things. Jesus promised his followers authority over every evil power... but that's the catch... it is to those who will have Christ as their savior and God. There is not tricking God... He's not going to swoop in and fix things for you when there is no real repentance in your heart. But if you can come to the point where you truly want what He was to offer, not just in deliverance, but in forgivenss and a new life... then I GUARANTEE you will see changes in your home and family.

I thank you for your wisdom and words of encouragement. I have never really been a church person not that I don't believe I do but for a while after my son was born and all that happened to him in the hospital which was avoidable I felt very angry with him for letting this happen to my son. Why did my child have to be the one born with major complications that will not only effect his life but ours for the rest of our lives. Everything has been a struggle since then even his younger brother has had to adjust to being the big brother even though he's two years younger and it has put tremondous strain on our marriage. I couldn't go to work as a result we lost everything. So why did god let this happen?
I know there are a lot of people worse off but when it's happening to you every day for the rest of your life it feel like you're the only one.I am slowly getting my faith back and I talk to the guardian angels to send us help and watch over us it does make a difference and I always feel better. Nothing has happened for a few days now so I'm hoping it will stop my husband thinks its all in my head as I suffer panic attacks now as well. I will pray more and see what happens.

One thing I want to add about prayer is this, according to Jesus some prayers go unanswered because they are either asked with wrong motives or are asked incorrectly. Believe it or not, there are right and wrong ways to pray. If you don't mind, may I ask how exactly you are praying? Now we could write volumes in response to your "why has all this happened" question. Some things can be prevented and some things happen that we don't understand or think are fair. I know that God can mend any relationship/marriage. I know that God can heal the sick. I know that John 9:1-3 offers a slight glimpse into those situations. Here Jesus explained that a certain man was born blind SO THAT the works of God might be displayed in him. Jesus intended to heal this man so that many could see the works of God displayed. Now there is one thing we need to get through our heads... we are not God, we cannot think like God nor can we comprehend Him... so there comes a point when we need to stop questioning Him about everything, accept He has control over all things and start to have faith in what He wants to do through us and in our lives. Again, this is a massive subject and I would love for you to find comfort and faith in God for these life situations you have, but my main goal, at least in this context is to deal with your unwanted spiritual guest and to point you in the right direction towards spiritual health and maturity. There is nothing about your situation you have mentioned that is unfixable or unusable if you would learn to look more towards God through Jesus Christ. I might suggest skipping that talking to the angels part and simply let God deal with that area. Angels are not to be our focus, they are simply who God uses to do His works and will. Praying to them can be a very easy gate Satan can use to get in... he himself is a fallen angel and can appear as one of light. Let God deal with the angels, you deal with God.
