    Dating an underage girl.
I'm a 18 year old talking to a 15 year old. Neither set of parents minds us going out, but she is scared that if the law found out, I would get into trouble. Is it legal if she and I start seeing each other? There was a four-year difference when my dad started dating my mom when they were in school, so I don't really see a problem with it if we don't have sexual relations.

As long as there is no sexual contact, and sex. You can not feel even through the clothes in many places or that would be sexual contact with a child. ( same as the old man pervert who feels small children at the park) ** OK not same desires, but could be charged with the same crime.

So until she gets to be the age of consent, are you willing to hand holding only ?

As long as her parents are aware and allow you to date and there is no sex involved, you won't get into legal trouble.

At 18 years of age you are legally considered an adult and she is a minor (under 18 ) as the law states adults (a.k.a) you are not legally aloud to have any explicit contact with her 15 years of age (a.k.a) minor if the parents consent you probably won't get into any legal tangle but are you willing to like Fr_Chuck said to hand holding only ?

First the word is allowed. Second, since no location was mentioned how can you tell what the law states? Third, define "explicit".

We pride ourselves on the quality of the advice we give here. In the legal forums we expect answers to cite applicable law. It is nice you want to help, but you need to be sure your answers are accurate.
