    File history
My friend is using a windows 7 operating and accidentally forgot to turn off file sharing and change the network from home when she was connected to a work network and I was wondering if there is a way to look up anyone who has accessed files and which ones they accessed. I already helped show her how to put up her firewall turn off file sharing and set the network to public, is there anything else that should be done to secure her system.

Sorry for the horrable grammar and thanks for any help you can provide.

Go to Computer Management - Right Click on my Computer and select manage -or- type "compmgmt.msc" into the Run Dialogue or Command Prompt.

Find Shared Folder in the Right Pane.
Shares - Will show you the folders you are currently chasing.
Sessions - Will show you people who are currently connected to shared folders.

I don't know of a history feature for shared folders but if someone know, please let me know...

    Hope this helps
