I found out I was pregnant 3 months ago with me ex's kid. I got an abortion. The surgery kind. I was 17 weeks. Now I'm pregnant again. My boyfriend and his family want me to get an abortion again. I was wondering if that could effect my chances of having kids in the future.

It won't necessarily affect whether you can conceive in the future, but it CAN affect your ability to carry a baby to term due to the manipulation of the cervix caused during an abortion.

To add, an abortion should never be used as a form of birth control. I am not sure where you live, but in many areas of the world a second trimester abortion is illegal. What you had 3 months ago was indeed a second trimester abortion as it was past the 12 week gestation period which marks the end of the first trimester and the beginning of the second trimester.

Please consider using birth control from this point forward if you are not ready to become a parent.

It can cause issues for future births and for carrying the child.
Also depending on the scaring and other issues it can have effects, this is one of the issues you will not know till after it is over and you are healed.

The biggest issue is why you are already pregnant and why you are not using other forms of birth control ( unless you are)
