My employer had reported my income on a wrong social ! And hence NY State Tax Department denied me refund . When I try to call any of numbers on NY State website it says "Office is currently closed call during normal business hours"! This happens whatever time I call . Can anyone help me what numbers should I call to ? I tried these numbers

You may have to go there in person to straighten this mess out. Money is tight and a lot of fripperies like real people to answer the phones is something they can do without now. You probably could not have solved this over the phone anyway.

This is beyond a phone call, you will need your payroll records, and other info and a personal visit most likely.

BUT your work place may have some liability in this
