I consider myself a bisexual. I am a little confused though, since lesbian porn doesn't seem to turn me on, whereas really explicit straight porn does and then again, lesbian erotic moments in movies DO turn me on. As soon as it gets explicit, it doesn't do much to me. I have slept with a few women and I enjoyed it a lot, I fell in love with a girl once and I check out women much more than I check out men. But somehow it confuses me that my body can react automatically to explicit straight porn, whereas lesbian porn leaves me cold. I don't think it will keep me from identifying as a bisexual, because I guess there can be many different ways of being this, but I am wondering if there are more people who experience something alike, and whether this should be reason for another identity-crisis ;)

I'd like to say firstly, that there is nothing wrong with you. I'm a completely straight woman, in a relationship with a man, but I enjoy lesbian porn.

Nothing to be worried about. What you are attracted to in real life is what determines your sexuality not your viewing habits.

You may find that your likes and dislikes in erotica change as you go through life. What turns you on today may not tomorrow. So don't let your choice of erotica be a major factor in deciding what you want in reality.

For that matter, why put yourself in a box and label it? Enjoy being yourself and finding the person you want to build a relationship with. There is a lot less confusion if you don't put unneeded pressure on yourself.

I'm also bisexual but have been with the same man for almost 9 years. Anyway, it's funny because I'm the exact opposite of you, I love lesbian porn but not so much straight porn. It might just be who you identify with or maybe you wish you were that guy having sex with the girl? Not literally, but you know what I mean. Does penetration turn you on more than oral sex? For me oral sex turns me on more, that's why I like lesbian porn more. Or maybe you like how aggressive or strong a man is towards the woman?
