I am trying to copy TV theme tunes from a website to a blank cd. The message says that there are errors on the files or they are missing burn rights. Is there any way around this?

Sounds like you have come across DRM, Digital Rights Management.
Basically security to stop exactly what you are trying to do.
Bad news is there is no way round it.
