Do I have to be ashamed?
Hi , a colleague at work just tried to humiliate me in front of others by teaching what to say and what not. She is much younger than me( 20 years difference) I felt humiliated especially because she did it in front of my voltages that I get on well and also especially in front a man that I like.
My question is do I have to hide myself under the bed because of the situation that I felt like a small child and others as well as a man I like may think that I am a looser?
    Thank you for your advice

Are you sure she was intentionally trying to humiliate you?

And no, you don't have to feel like you have to hide under the bed and you don't have to feel like a loser, and you don't have to be ashamed.

So why did you not stop her, people can only show you, or talk down to you or do anything to you, if you allow them.

Have you told her that you are upset that she did it.

You go on and don't even worry about it

Hi Fr_Chucks, yes I said calmly and silently that it was rude for her to tell me that but not fore to ask her something but she acted like senior person in superior way talking loudly and like am the small child.

Just curious, how I am supposed to know if it was intentional or not? I am not her.. As there's saying that either person is brain damaged and she doesn't know what she is saying or doing ( in which case she should be forgiven) or she is not brain damaged and SHE KNOWS exactly what she is doing..
