How can I live with my dad when my mom has custody
How can my dad get custody of me when I can't live with my mom in the first place because the police took me out and placed me with my grandma

Was your mother given custody by court order? If so, your dad would have to file a motion with that court. He would ask for custody. If not, he would have to file a new case, asking for the same thing.

You didn't answer the question I asked. It matters, or I would not have asked.

Evidently you are not in Alabama. What state court awarded your mother custody? He would have to file to modify custody in that state.

More likely, it would be contempt of court, if doing so would be a violation of the current custody order. You say your dad has an attorney. If so, that attorney is in a better position to give an accurate answer than we are. Why don't you have your dad ask the attorney?

Why don't you ask your father to post here? This is his legal problem, not yours - although I do understand it's your life. How did your Grandmother get custody of you instead of your father (who is the next in line).
