    It will fire up but when it overheats the heat exchanger it will cut off because the blower is not working
    Capicitor, I`m saying all this ((assuming you are talking about a furnace))),, You didn`t say what kind of equipment is not starting,, if u talking about a heatpump, no nothing will work with a bad capicitor
