My friend told me she wanted me to stay in her apartment with her even though I told her I couldn't because I couldn't pay. She said I didn't have to. Now her other room mate is saying that she's going to sue me for rent. There was no verbal or written agreement and I was given keys to the place! Now their saying their was some kind of verbal agreement and their going to take me to court?

Anyone can sue. That doesn't mean that the roommate will prevail.

They're saying there was a verbal agreement of some kind? Both of them?

I suppose you should have got both roommates to agree before you moved in. Start looking for somewhere else to live.
