What's the easiest way to get my ex to give up his parental rights?
My husband would like to adopt my son. His bio-dad hasn't paid child support in almost 2 years and whenever I ask him if he wants to see the child he always gives me an excuse. I'm OK with him not paying child support I'm ready for him to completely disappear, but he refuses to relinquish his rights.

If he refuses, its not likely to happen. If you want your husband to adopt, then you need to consult an attorney. If the father refuses to be a part of his child's life yo may find a court sympathetic. An attorney can help you get that done.

One thing that might help is your pushing harder to collect the support he owes.

Often if you get really hard on him for collecting support, if he values money over his child. So get after him, report him to child support enforcement, take him back to court for contempt, try to get him put in jail for a few weeks for non payment.

Then if he will ever want to sign, that may be the time
