Where' the smell the strongest? Tank? Bowl or base? Does the water smell? Did it just start or has it been ongoing Let me know, Tom

Well... it's kind of hard to tell, but the base is where I smell it strongest. This has been just going on for 3 days now. So far, I ran a water hose down the roof vent to clear any possible obstructions and I just put in Rid-x in my bowl, so I'm hopeing I don't have to replace the wax seal on the base but I may have answered my own question. That and let me know what else you might think.

First off forget the Rid-X. Your septic tank doesn't need any "starters". When you purchase Rid-X or Septic Savior you're just throwing your money away. You have done everything except replace then wax seal. That's next. And after you reset the toilet purchase a tube of Dap White Tub and Tile Caulk and caulk the base of the bowl for a professional look and added insurance against any odor. Good luck, Tom
