My single pull up/push down handle kitchen sink won't turn off, how do I fix it?
I tired turning it off at the valves under the sink, but it would not turn off. I had to turn it off at the hot water heater. So it would stop. It's no longer runnig but how do I fix it. It's older, I don't know the brand.

Would this be a Moen Valve? If no what brand is it? If the angle stops won't turn try loosening the bonnet packing nut a bit. As for the kitchen sink valve, is it just the hot water that won't shut off? Back to you, Tom

The faucet won't turn of, even after I've shut the knobs under the sink off. I've had to shut the hot water off at the hot water heater valve. The cold water now will drip a bit before finally shutting off even after the cold water has been turned off from the faucet. I can't find a model on it, it's an older sink where the handle sits on a ball/dome.
