My Audi A4 died on me this morning on the way to work and won't re-start, I am getting the brake warning light when I try to start back up, it turns but won't catch help please

. Ensure the gas cap is tight.

. Remove and fully charge the battery, clean battery terminals, and clean cable connections.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. Be very thorough.

. Check for codes.

. Check for spark. Depending on the year of your Audi and its engine, I would focus on the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. In lieu of an ICM, focus on the Crankshaft Position Sensor and Camshaft Position Sensor.

. Check for fuel. Ensure the fuel pump runs, when the ignition switch is turned to ON.
