NO cold water in kitchen OR bathroom!
Recently the toilet was plugged and well we unclogged it however it did not fill up and then stuff started coming out of the drain in the shower... now however I find myself with NO cold water in the shower, or the sink (keep in mind that the toilet will not flush at all or water will fill it), and now on top of that the kitchen beside the bathroom also ONLY brings out hot water... to make this problem even more difficult this is the only part of the house that does that.. we have another bathroom and everything works just fine..

Fyi -i've already called the city (they said it wasn't their problem and it was an "internal problem"

    Help please!

Your toilet blockage and the water supply stoppage are not connected. Are any of your water pipes exposed to the cold weather? We are getting a rash of frozen pipe complaints. If you still have a back up in the shower I would snake the drain from the lavatory roof vent. Good luck, Tom

I live in Ontario, canada where it's 10°F/ -12°C.. I went to home depot to buy that insulation to wrap around the cold water pipes... I really have no idea what to do--- do you think it could still be clogged up or something?.
