Hi I have a v reg 1.4i honda civic and when your driving it sum times when you let off the accelarator and put back on it again it hick ups and then picks back up again does it every now and then but no idea wts causing it help!

It's likely a distributor related problem. Consider installing a new Ignition Control Module (ICM), located inside the distributor. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM. If the problem persists, you may need to install the new ICM and coil in a new genuine Honda distributor housing--other brands are suspect.

Done that still doesn't do any thing now its idleing real low when its hot?

First off check your spark plugs and plug wires to make sure there firing. Sometimes a spark plug might be blown. If all is good try checking the fuel injecters
