    Finding movies by a scene?
I am trying to find a movie about Napoleonic Wars.
The only scene I can remember is about (I believe) the french are about to fight (I believe) the Russians at some beach. And one of the main characters gets into some sort of duel with a huge Russian soldier. The french guy manages to kill the Russian, but he is being held in some sort of death grip, and they both drown.
Also there is supposed to be a main character; a Sergeant (or Captain) who has only one eye (or scar over his eye).

I know it's not War and Peace, (both English and Russian) I know it's not Sharpe, not Waterloo... I'm about to give up.
If anyone has any more suggestions where to look, it would be much appreciated. I know it must be from before 1995 since I watched it as a kid.

Here's a site to look it up based on the info you have - The Internet Movie Database (IMDb)

Thank you for the suggestion. I did look at IMDb, but unfortunately I could not find the scene in any of the movies listed there.
I can't even be sure whether Napoleonic war was in fact the main theme... I just remember that one battle scene.

I tried looking it up, too - couldn't find anything. This is one of those things that you remember at 3AM, I suspect, and then forget by morning.
