    Probation voilation warrant
In 2001, I was arrested for a 2nd DUI offense in CA. I left CA before completing the terms of my probation (30 days or 10 days I can't remember). It has been 6 years and I want to know where I stand. A Probation Violation Warrant has been issued in CA. I believe there is no statute of limitations on this type of offense and warrant. I want to know what my options may be, short of turning myself in. Can I apply for the thing to be dropped some how, or perhaps pay a fine of some kind? Also what are the chances of me going to get a drivers licence in my current state, my old one has expired long ago?

    Hello andrew:

You're right. The warrant will live forever. Short of turning yourself in, hire a lawyer in Ca. Fine?? I doubt it.

Can you get a drivers license?? Bwa, ha ha ha. Dude! Go near that building, and they'll arrest you.
