How can I control myself to not get over excited when having sexual intercourse?

Think about a dead cat with maggots crawling out of it... lol um.. you can't really. Just the more often you do it the better you will get. Your sexual partner will just have to be understanding about it. Sex takes time, you have to work at it to get it good.

Think about your grandmother naked (or your great grandmother if she is still alive )

That rule dose not apply any more, in fact I was told that there never was such a rule. I think it was but was told to stop asking ages.

Ok thanks for the clarification.

Try counting, forward and backward. Or stopping and trying something else. Like oral or mutual mastubation. Changing positions can also help.
