    New well pump

I have adjusted nuts for cut in and out and nothing works. Well company says they can fix it for $700.

Sorry I'm new to this. I get 25psi on a new well pump, use to get 40-50. The well guy says its down inside the well is the problem. I find that hard to believe. Id like some other ideas , thanks.

Not good enough! You need a better explanation then that. Is this pump on the surface or down in the well? When it gets up to 25PSI does it keep on pumping or does it shut of? Are you pumping air? More details please. Back to you, Tom

The pump is on the surface, its shuts off and starts up fine. Water pressure drops to about 20psi , then pump kicks on. And no air in line. Also, is there a difference between a well pump motor and a pool pump motor? The pump switch is suppose to be a 40-60 psi switch.

Yes the pump motors will be the same. So what is it .exactly. Is it that the well company'sn going to fix? What do they say is wrong? Back to you, Tom
