Legal document stating no contact with minors?
I currently live in MD with two minor children. I am divorced with Temp sole custody of my children and their father has had a No Contact Order' since 2007 in the state of CT. He was convicted of sexually abusing my youngest daughter in 2010. I am looking to end his parental rights completely and have no idea how difficult or expensive this process may be. I have been told that I need a MD attorney as we have lived here for 3 years now. My husband now would also like to legally adopt the children. I know theses are two separate issues. I just have no idea where to begin.

Actually they are not separate. An adoption will terminate his rights. So work on the adoption. Hire an attorney to prepare the petition. As part of the adoption, the bio father will be asked to agree to the adoption. If he willingly signs, his rights will be terminated. If not, I believe the court will terminate them anyway.
