My boyfriend is 26 and I'm 21. We've been together for 2 years and we've decided to get married but the problem is that my family are rich and expect me to marry a guy from a rich family but my boyfriend is not. Actually his parents can't give him any kind of financial support. But he is a hardworking guy and I'm sure he'll be a successful man in future. Another problem is that one of my friends has told my parents that my boyfriend smokes from time to time and my family hate smokers. Help!

You are at the legal age to marry without their permission. They may not like him but If you love him go for it. I'd make sure to have a job on your end and his in case they decide to cut you off.
