Call the police there and ask, you can also consult the US embassy there ( if you are a US citizen)

This sounds like part 2 of the basic scam. I bet you were in email and they loved you. I bet you sent them money for passport and a visa, perhaps even money to be in a bank account to have money to leave the country. Now they are missing, some friend of theirs has contacted you perhaps saying that they are now missing ?

Just wait, soon they will be found and for only a few more thousand dollars they will be released.

But for missing persons, there as anywhere, they call the local police and report them.

Well not having relationship just talking with them but thanks some one is trying to scam me for money they are threating me bodyly harm here from there not to worried just was kind of concerded about her just in case it was true but didn't know who to ask there if she has been reported missing but you think the us embassy would know if her name was on a missing person report
