    I have a 1996 Grand Marquis, when I step on the gas it acts likes its in neutral.
    I had it hooked up to the diagnosic machine. Its says it is in the exhust. I have replaced all four converters and the fuel pump.

    If it just revs up then check your transmission fluid. See what color it is and if there is a strong burned odor that goes with it.

    My guess is the OP changed the Ox sensors.

    Are you saying you replaced catalytic converters? As was already said, if you step on the gas and it revs but doesn't move, it sounds like a transmission problem.
