Wiring 6 Recessed lights with a single switch is the first light black with the white and after that is white to white and black to black I need help with that

Is power going to the first light fixture or is the power going to the switch box?

In the switch box the white's will be wire nutted together, if the source is at the switch, all lights need whites and blacks. The white is the return to complete the circuit. Hope this help.
