Should I tell my parents about my depression?
I'm pretty sure I'm depressed, I feel so sad or lonely for no reason at all so often, and I have trouble talking to people because I feel so horribly awkward. I've thought about suicide a couple of times and tried self-harm, but it doesn't do me any good so I've stopped harming myself. I'm scared people will judge me, but I want help so I can feel better, because I want to go to Uni and start a happy n successful life.
I'm just terrified of telling my parents about my problems. I want help so badly but I just can't. My mum and dad are separated and my dad has depression, and threatened to commit suicide when mum told him she was leaving him. They've already had so much pain with this stupid problem, I just don't want to be a burden.
