This is a new unit that was installed in the summer. The a/c works great but I turned on the heat and it sounds like something is coming on but the blower never turns on.

Could be the low voltage wires not connected right, either at the tstat or where connected to circuit board
The installer should stand behind his work, give him a call, probably something simple, but if not experienced you could blow the transformer or the tstat

If the A/C is working properly with the blower then the heat should also, the stat uses the same 24v transformer for the A/C as it does for the heat. Set your stat to call for heat and then observe the furnace to see if the inducer motor comes on and the furnace actually ignites and post back to us. Thank you.

If this was just installed this past Summer, it should be in warranty. Call the dealer.
