When I load the realtack ac 97 audio driver in intel 845gvsr mother board , it stops or hang the video or audio in one or two minutes and when I right click any wher it stops or hang please help me.

Was it working previously?

For a new install, did you:

1. Install the Intel chipset INF driver first before any other drivers?
2. Use the correct audio driver that came on the Intel disc included with the board or that you downloaded from Intel's website?

I have no such cd of 845gvsr motherboard. I don't know intel chipset inf driver is install or not. But I have run the intel chipset download from net before load the realtek 97 audio driver.

Did the audio ever work correctly?
