    I have all the needed codecs and my windows media player still won't play videos just the audio what can I do to fix this

    I use the KLite Codecs free download. Every video plays just fine on my WMedia Player. Try that.

    Yes it finally works but I do think that I had to many different codec packs and the k lite helped me remove them but all I know now is that it is working thanks to twinkiedooter

    Yes, sometimes having too many codecs can prove to be a problem. I just use the K Lite pack and no other audio/video codecs. Also another good media player is the VideoLan. Free download. I use this as well as it has a lot of codecs and does not interfer with the KLite codecs.

    Another good free player is Divx. Might want to give that a try sometime.
