I would like to install a utility sink next to my stacked washer and dryer. The washer has a drain pipe next to the water valves in the wall. On the floor, there is a overflow pipe that the is supposed to be used with a drain pan that washer sits on top, but I am not using it. Can I use the overflow pipe in the floor for the install of the utility sink? Do I need to modify it for venting or code issues? Thanks, Mark
