    Taking a stab here - are you referring to a heat transfer problem (T = temperature and t = time)? If so, the rate of heat transfer under conduction can be modeled as being proportional to the temperature difference between the two bodies. Hence



    It appears that you have been given information that one of the bodies is held at a constant 5 degrees. Does this help?
