    Split ends!
I got split ends on my hair!

I know I need to get it cut, but I wanted to know if there are amy alternatives.

This is the first time I've ever gotten split ends!

Are split ends bad for you? Do they mean anything at all about your hair or the test
    Of your body?

They can be caused by hormonal changes in your body (when women get pregnant they normally lose sheen in their hair) or different eating habits; but everybody gets them. They can also be caused by over processing and excess heat to your hair. They are not bad for you or generally mean anything unless they are completely out of the ordinary. If you just have split ends because it has been a while since you got a trim then no biggie.. if you just got your hair cut last week, however, and are experiencing crazy split ends you need to examine other areas mentioned before such as a change in eating habits or hormones. You can deep condition your hair for a quick fix and use serum for styling -but it won't last long. The best thing to do is get a trim. Trims don't cost as much as a full style and this way your hair will be healthier, grow faster, and be completely rid of your split ends.
