When I turn the furnace on the fan comes on. After a few seconds the ignitor starts glowing but the burner does not light. After 3 tries it then locks out with a lock out code.

Gas valve isn't opening up. Could be a bad transformer... you will need a multimeter and the know how to use it in order to solve your problem. If you can do this we should be able to talk you through it...

I do have one and I have 120 volts between the black wire and white common. 24 volts between the red and blue

Ok, after the ignitor glows you should be able to hear the gas valve open and you should get 24-28v to the valve as well. Check this and let me know, thank you
