It is really adjusting your bite so you won't have any problems that can impact on the rest of your teeth when you eat. When you run your tongue over your teeth, bumps and low areas are magnified, feeling huge, but in essence these aren't as bad as they feel. You can either tell you dentist to smooth the surface, or wait until it smooths naturally.
